  • Ofcourse! Fats are the main source of energy for the body. When we consume fat our body will put some of it aside to fat storage, that's for when we need the extra calories. Fat insulates the body, it is also used in the metabolic process with protein. A few foods that have fat in them are.. dairy products, animal produce, and oils from plants.
  • Okay, where we're we. Oh yeah I was telling you about nutrients!
  • Yeah! I heard my friend talking bout fats today. Do you think you can explain it?
  • Yeah!
  • We should better get going, we don't want to miss health class!
  • A vitamin is a important part of nutreince. If you don't get the correct amount of vitamins daily it could be bad. There are 6 main vitamins, (A,K,D,B,E and C). They are used for all different things and found in different places. For example vitamin D, has been proven to help your bones and teeth.
