- Two men named Don and Steve are conversing about adult things while Steve is washing his car. Suddenly a big light strikes Maple Street. When Steve and Don go to check it out they are stopped by a little boy named Timmy. Timmy is telling them not to go because he says that its not what the people in the ship want. Before Timmy gives this information Pete Van Horn goes to see if there is Electricity anywhere else
- Climax
- As Steve,Don,And Charlie are talking to everybody on Maple Street trying to calm them down Tommy says something that triggers everybody blaming each other. Then Les Goodman's car turns on by itself. Everybody suspects the alien is Les. This leads to a number of accusations just like the Salem Witch Trials.
- Falling Action
- Everybody suddenly forgets what happened at the time of the crash because everybody is too busy blaming people. They also unfortunately forget Pete Van Horn went to go check if there is electricity over at Floral Street. Pete Van horn then comes back to report to Steve and Don,
- Resolution
- Steve is handed a shotgun but since Steve doesn't want it Charlie grabs it. Then they see a man walking in the dark towards them, Charlie shoots in fear not knowing who the person walking in the dark towards them is. They then find out to know that Charlie shot Pete Van Horn who was just trying to give a report on what he found.
- Charlie is just as distraught and horrified as the crowd. All of the accusations start up again and this time its worse. The out of nowhere Charlie's lights go on. Everybidy is sure that Charlie is the alien. Then out of the blue everybody thinks the alien is Tommy because he knew everything about the aliens.People still weren't done with Les.
- The story then cuts to two anonymous men talking about how Maple Street is no different then all the other streets they have done this to. The then say that they will move on to see if there is a street that is different.
