This weekend I spent so much time on my phone.
Be careful Kate spending too much time online can be dangerous. I learned about this thing called online tracking.
What's that?
Basically every time you are on a website you are leaving a trail of where you have been. Even websites that you don't click on can be tracking you.

I know right it really makes you think about the sites you visit.
What else did you learn?
I learned that the results that come up when you Google something can be different than someone who looks up the same thing. This depends on what you have looked up in the past.

I need to check that out. Knowing that people are tracking where I go on the internet is scary. Thanks Maria!
But there is an extension called Collusion that you can turn on while you are searching the web to help you. Collusion shows you your path of where you have been on the web and who is tracking you.
Wow this is so crazy. I really should start to pay more attention to where I go on the internet.
