- Good afternoon ma’am. I’m with the Student Welfare & Attendance Team and the reason I’m here today is because of your son Johnny being Chronically Absent. His teacher and his peers miss him. Is there anything we can do to have Johnny make it to school?
- Thank you for coming to visit. There has been a lot going on lately. So many barriers like needing school supplies, he does not have clothing for the season, no consistent transportation and we may become evicted because I just lost my job and his father is the only income now. It’s been difficult to pay bills and our phone got disconnected. Also, my son seems different, like sad and I’m not sure why. It might be because his best friend moved away. We’re going through a lot. Can you help us?
