- Q:Describe the West and Southwest culture. What was the Great Plains culture like? How is this culture similar and different from our own?
- The west and southwest culture are very different to our culture today. The reason I say this is because they used to live in groups of 30 to 500 and usually now we live in groups of 2.3,4, and 5 and at most probably 10 we don't really live in giant group of 300 like that. The Great Plains culturee was kind of similar. They adapted to dry climate, and they were nomadic. The Great Plains stretched from Canada into Texas. that's very far! The plains were also grassland. Also the natives on the plains also used buffalo skins for shields, clothing, and coverings for their teepees.
- Lastly. the diffrence between our culture now vs their culture back then is very different. They used to wear dresses like the one your wearing and they used to wear boots vs now we wear clothes like this. like what I am wearing. Also they moved place to place for small food and animals people now a days move place to place just to visit other areas. This is how I describe the west and southwest culture. what the Great Plains is like, and how this is similar and different.
