- 30 years before the war French fur traders moved to the Carolinas. Great britain and the Cherokee tribe signed a treaty. Great britain did this so that the Cherokee didn't trade with the french
- The Battle
- The cherokee thought that they were friends on equal terms. This made the Britsih think they were in charge of the cherokee. The British viewed the Cherokee as savages. This photo shows the Cherokee thinking them and the British are cool.
- The Blockade
- We need to stop the Cherokee from trading and hold their leaders hostage
- Peace between the Bristish and the Cherokee lasted 30 years. But this trust was broken During the French and Indian War. Britain never trusted the cherokee so when they found out there trust was broken
- The Treaty
- The cherokee warriors felt cheated so took control of the british forces horses. This made the British soldiers attack. Then the Cherokee warrioes retalieated
- the royal governer of south carolina tried to control the cherokee by stoping the Cherokee from trading and hold their leaders hostage
- The treaty that ended the French and Indian war forced the cherokee to give up a lot of their land and create a boundry dividing the south carolina colony and the cherokee teritory.
