- Monique: "I love that we get to decide. We both love being creative. How about we make our own model?"
- Sunny: "Yes, I love this idea. You are right Monique."
- eMpowerment: The teacher is giving the students autonomy by allowing students to have a say in their learning. They are able to pick how they want to do their presentation. This kind of project format, allows for students to feel in control of their learning and are more likely to be self-motivated.

- Joey: "Mrs. Riggle, I got the first three steps right! I can definitely do the rest on my own. Thanks for the help!"
- Mrs. Riggle broke down the complex coding project into smaller steps for Joey to complete.
- Success: When a teacher provides clear expectations and breaks down a task, the students feel they can succeed. This boost in confidence motivates them to keep trying even when things get hard.
