- then the Trojan war broke out this means odyessues was drafted into the war.angry and upset he came up with a plan to not go war as he wanted to be there when his son grew up

- he prtended to have gone mad so the king put his child under the plow he was using if he he killed his new born son. if not he would swerve. he swerved
- meeting the mentor
- athena was his mentor since for ever

- odesyeus fought in the trojan war for twenty years
