- Jack loved hands-on work, but long instructions and written reports always made his head spin and stomach upset..
- Ohhhh, my stomach HURTS! What if I mess this up... again? I wonder if I can go to the nurse to get out of this....

- Engineers draw before they build. You can sketch, label, or even build a mini model before starting your final bridge with your group. Each of you will pick a role card: Builder, Storyteller, or Tester. When all of the bridges are built we will present to the class and reflect on our learning!

- I was the storyteller of the group. First, we drew a plan for our bridge.Then, we used markers and a protractor to make the base. Finally, we tested it with two toy cars that weighs 3lbs each!
- When I tested the bridge I was scared it wouldn't work, but it did!
- I'm so glad Zoey could tell the class how we built our bridge.
