In this scene, Lady Macbeth is reading a letter, sent by her Husband Macbeth. In this letter, she finds out that 3 Witches have told him a prophecy. She also states that the prophecy shall be true and Macbeth will be king.

In this scene, a messenger comes to tell lady Macbeth that the king is com to dine in their home, and also that Macbeth is coming home. When the messenger leaves, Lady Macbeth calls to the evil spirits to make her more manly so that she can help kill the King.

In this scene, Macbeth comes home. When he arrives, Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth that they need to kill the king in order to fulfill the prophecy. However, Macbeth is unsure of this and states, they will speak of this topic later.
