- Andrew and his mom were walking in the street when Andrew saw a ballet school!
- Ballet School!
- When Andrew and his mom arrived home, Clara decided to talk to Dan about Andrew doing ballet.
- Clara decided to take Andrew to try out ballet anyways. Dan is just going to have to accept it.
- The sign spoke to Andrew loud and clear. Mama! Look, it's a ballet school! Andrew exclaimed. It sure is, Andrew. Clara spoke. Deep down, Clara knew how much Andrew wanted to do ballet, but she also knew how Andrew's dad, Dan, felt about boys who were into such things. Mama, do you think I can take ballet? Andrew questioned. We'll have to see, Andrew. Clara muttered. Andrew was content with that answer and continued rambling on about ballet.
- Immediately after Andrew heard the news, he knew he was going to wear his ballerina Halloween costume from last year.
- As much as Andrew wanted to do ballet, he didn't know is how much his dad was against boys who do ballet. While Andrew was in his room playing, Clara decided to go talk to Dan about letting Andrew take up ballet. This started a little disagreement between them. Just let him try ballet, Dan! There's nothing to lose! Clara exclaimed. Oh yeah? Well maybe I just don't want OUR SON doing ballet. He needs to play a boy's sport. Dan argued.
- Clara was waiting downstairs hoping and praying that Dan hadn't found out what they were up to.
- Ballet School!
- Hey Andrew.. We have decided that you can try out ballet. Clara stated. Really mom!? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Andrew exclaimed with joy! Of course sweetheart! Now go get ready, class is supposed to start any minute now. Clara announced.
- Andrew and Clara arrived right on time!
- Andrew rummaged through his closet looking for his costume until he finally found it in one of his drawers! He put the outfit on and then he heard his mother yelling Come on Andrew! We're going to be late! Coming mom! Andrew shouted back.
- So, how do I look, mom? Andrew giggled. You look as cute as a button sweetheart! Now let's go, you don't want to be late. Clara explained. And off they went.
- Andrew was absolutely ecstatic. The sun shined down on him as if it was smiling. The air had never smelled so crisp. And the street had never been so peaceful. But Andrew and Clara could've never predicted what they would experience inside the ballet school..
