Before the Industrial Revolution, kids used to work on their parent's farms. They were outside, working, having proper nutrition and health, and were receiving#160;sunlight and fresh air.
During the Industrial Revolution, kids were sent away each day to factories and mines. Even though these kids were still working, they were now working under harsh conditions. They were not receiving any nutrition, sunlight, or fresh air. They were also receiving terrible health conditions for barely any money.
After the Industrial Revolution, kids were sent to school for a proper education after unions were made and factory owners/mine owners had to fire every kid they had hired. These kids were now receiving a proper education, proper health, proper nutrition and chances to gain knowledge that could lead them to a higher job position compared to factory worker or miner.
