So she decided to tell her mom about it.
I wish you wouldn't do that, telling everybody I'm your daughter.

Waver-ly thought it was obvious she was her mother's daughter so it wasn't necessary but her mother felt she was ashamed.
It's not that. it's just so obvious. It's just so embarrassing.

Waver-ly's mother did not understand what Waver-ly was trying to say and this made her very angry.
