- The case of Shaw v. Reno is mainly revolving on Racial Redistricting, and how it violates the Constitution. Shaw and other citizens of NC believe it was unfair and how it violates the 14th amendment based on the Equal Protection Clause, which makes everyone no mater race or ethnicity equal.
