- This scene depicts when Montag found Mildred overdosed on sleeping pills.
- This scene shows Montag burning down a house and being zoned out. To me The Hearth and the Salamander means the fire burning down society and the Salamander is the government and society praying over the people.
- There must be something in books, things we can't imagine, to make a woman stay in a burning house.
