A "plague" is going around the city killing everything so king Oedipus sends his brother in law Creon to get answers from Delphic Oracle.

Creon comes back telling the king that they need to find the recent kings murderer and he needs to be exiled,and suggest that they need to ask the prophet for answers.
Oedipus i think it's time you find out that............
The prophet does not what to speak to Oedipus. The king questions the prophet, then the prophet goes on to say the the recent king was really Oedipus father and his wife was really his mother.Oedipus dose not believe this and thinks Creon is setting him up.
Creon come to oedipus and states that he dose not even want to be king, wgile the prophet tries to tell him that he is telling the truth.Oedipus still denies all claims and is going to exile Creon.
Jocasta then informs him that the recent king was murdered by highwaymen where three roads meet.
Oedipus then recalls where he had murdered a man who him had a confrontation with years back and that might have been his father.
