BOAT TRIP (pt, 2)

Storyboard Tekst

  • 6:37 PM
  • There is no way I am eating pot stew, but I am so hungry. Maybe I will just skip eating.
  • We always eat this stuff on the boat. Your choice buddy, your the one who's going to be up tonight.
  • Up tonight? What?
  • 9:41 PM
  • Overnight is a very dangerous time out here on the ocean. Therefore, we need to have people on deck at all times looking out for our ship. There could be fires, tsunamis, leaks, and more. We will have four different shifts at night. Your teacher will wake you up when it is your time. I will be sleeping on the next floor, and please do not interrupt my well needed sleep.
  • Was this in the contract...
  • 3:59 AM
  • Hey there! Wake up! You're on the 4am to 6am night shift
  • Okay. What's it like out there?
  • Pretty rough to say the least. You'll be glad to be back.
  • 4:21 AM
  • The word "rough" was an understatement.
  • I had goosebumps covering my body. My lips were almost numb and it hurt to turn my head. I was still thinking about what the captain said. The sounds of the ocean appeared as scary as opposed to calming. What if there was a fire, tsunami, or leak? What would I do? I should have stayed home. Once the clock hits 6:00 AM my mom will be here finally.
  • 6:32 AM
  • Glad you are okay honey! Did you learn anything from this trip?
  • I learned to always be thankful for what you have, because some people may have it worse than others. Before this day, I never had to worry about the dangers of being on a boat. I will now show more appreciation towards captains. Thanks for asking mom!
