The murder of Banquo was unjust because he now had felt like he was able to murder anyone who felt like a threat to his throne, including banquo who started getting suspicious of the murder of the king but mostly because his kids would take over the throne in later years. He also couldn't kill Banquo himself so he made the murder's do it.
