- The top shows that you can not be denied by process of law and that everyone must follow fair procedures. The bottom shows that you do not have to answer questions that could incriminate you.

- The top shows that people can not be charged with the same crime twice. And the bottom shows that the jury is making the decision and that they are indicting the case.
