A group of brash, drunk, and ignorant rioters hear news of a problem wrecking havock in their town. They decide to address this problem: death.
While out on their journey, the group encounters an old man who tells of his experiences during his long life. The rioters instead poke fun at his appearance. Following this, the old man tells them that if they want to confront death they follow a path.
The rioters heed the directions of the old man, leading them to a grove full of gold!
In order to maximize sneakiness the rioters decide it would be best to return with the gold at night, as to avoid suspicion. They decide to send one of them out to the town to get wine and bread while they wait.
Both the rioters who stayed behind as well as the one who went to the town decide to attack the other in order to receive a larger share of gold. The two who stayed behind agreed to stab the other while the rioter who went to town decided to keep it classy by poisoning them.
Upon the return of the rioter who went to the town, the other two launched their attack, killing him. To celebrate, they drink the wine he brought, leading to their demise as well. The end.
