- In the sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation first a person goes through contriton. Contrition is a heartfelt sorrow for sins and the person is very sorry and regrets their sins.
- Absolution
- Thank you. I feel much better.
- Your sins have been forgiven and God will always love you.
- After contrition comes confession. In confession you confess your sins to the priest. After you confess your sins the priest will give you a number of a certain prayer. He could also give you a certain number of more prayers.
- The End
- Hi sir, I stole a chocolate bar recently and I am very sorry. Here is the money I owe you for the chocolate bar. I have learned my lesson and I am sorry for my mistake.
- Thank you so much for returning your money! It is ok and I forgive you but, just don’t do it again.
- After confession comes penance. In penance you rosy the specific amount of prayers or prayer that the priest have given you. After you pray these prayers God forgives you and all your sins.
- After penance comes absolution, this is the last step of penance and reconciliation. In absolution you get a good feeling and have a desire to follow God’s will and try your best to be just like God.
