Stories are wonderful, but they are stuck in the past. Modernism is about progress, which includes new ideas and methods of thinking.

It’s impressive, but where’s the character? Where’s the soul?
The soul is in the people who use it. The building just needs to be functional.

I’m serious! Progress is about leaving outdated things behind. Why cling to the past when we can make something better?
