- Oedipus... you were the one who killed Laius. You also slept with your mother.
- A terrible plague, known as Covid-19, is spreading across a city. People are getting angry because they are tired of staying in their houses. Despite efforts, the plague cannot be stopped. King Oedipus announces that this brother, Creon, will travel in search of how to cure the plague.
- Falling Action
- Oedipus and Creon decide to have lunch at a Chinese restaurant to discuss the major problem. The open their fortune cookie and discover the devastating news. The murder of King Laius was never discovered! The causes Oedipus to become angry because he cannot cure the plague.
- Resolution
- Oedipus and this mother are talking about the murderer of the King. Him and his mother realize their tragic fate. Oedipus was the murder of his father, King Laius. Oedipus then realizes that this means, he had married his mother. Oedipus's prophecy comes true with him being the murderer of his father and marrying his mother.
- Oedipus's mother falls into a deep state of depression and runs away from home. Oedipus runs after her. He follows his mother into a creepy cave and watched in shock as his mother leaps. His mother ends her life my jumping off a 100 foot cliff. Oedipus begins crying uncontrollably as he looks over the cliff and sees his mothers splattered body. Oedipus picks up two sharp rocks and stabs them into his eyes as punishment for his guilt. Oedipus stumbles back into the town.
- WHY ME?!?!
- As Oedipus returns to the town to announce his tragic fate, he is greeted by two police officers.  Oedipus is sentenced to serving life in prison. The crowd is satisfied as justice has been served.
- Oedipus...you have the right to remain silent.
