- Dear Brittany
- Britt woke up early in the morning for school because she wanted to do her makeup so she can feel pretty. She could hear them gossiping about her as she walked the halls. She was being bullied in the school halls by a group of girls and it made her feel ugly and poor.
- On her way home she made a wish to herself that maybe only if she was prettier or fit in society norms she would be happier with herself. ¨All I want to do is feel pretty¨ she said. Thinking to herself…. Saying she would do anything in the world to get her dream look and popularity.
- When Britt arrived home lying there was a letter addressed to her. In the letter it explains that she can have her dream look and popularity but in exchange for every new bit of popularity she has to lose a loved one. Britt thought hard and long on how badly she was treated in the past by her old ¨friends¨. She was up for a change and just wanted whatever would benefit her. So she signed the paper and went to bed.
- The next morning Britt wakes up with her dream everything from head to toe. She gets to school and everyone is talking about how pretty she is and how they want to be her friend. Sara asks Britt if she would like to go to her birthday party. This is everything Britt dreamed of and more and she was really excited.
- Britt gets to the party with Sara and all of Sara's friends and is trying to have fun but something just feels off. She got the look, the friends and more and still didn't feel happy. ¨What could it be¨ Britt mumbled to herself while dancing.
- Britt sat in her room after the party and immediately burst into tears. She didn't understand why she felt so alone.. As she thought about it more and more she realized everything that truly mattered to her was gone. But….there was no going back.
