So Whats is a bill?A bill is proposal for a new law or a change in a law. Bills are also sometimes requested by the people.

A member of congress will introduce the bill then it goes to the appropriate committee. This holds representatives of interest groups and public officials.
Why are we here?
If a bill doesn't end up being pigeonholed it will continue to the House of Reps and then they make a vote on the bill.

After the house of Reps vote the bill will transfer to the Senate based on how the house voted.
Ohhhh so that's what this place is!
The Senate is less strict and gives more time on the floor to discuss.

What goes on in here? The voting and debating happens here this is where a bill is attempted to be talked to death. Once the voting is passed it is turned over to the president

The president has a choice to sign the bill or call a veto. Signing the bill will make it become a law and the Congress have the ability to override a veto with a 2/3 vote
