- The City of Jerusalem is important to my religion because it is where the Western/ Wailing Wall is located. Which is only thing left after the Romans destroyed our synagogue.

- The Church of Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is very important to us Christians. It is where Jesus Christ died, was buried, and arose from the dead .

- The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. It is where we believe that Prophet Muhammad went to be with God in Heaven.

- The First Jewish Revolt was the result of a long series of confrontations. In which small groups of Jews, offered sporadic resistance to the Romans, who in return responded with brutal countermeasures. Fall of AD 66; Jews combined in revolt, expelled the Romans from Jerusalem and overwhelmed in the pass of Beth- Horna Roman punitive force under Gallus.
- A revolutionary government was set up and it expanded its influence all throughout the whole country after the Romans were expelled from Jerusalem. Roman Emperor, Vespasian was sent by Nero to destroy the rebellion. Vespasian was then joined by Titus and together the Roman armies entered Galilee. It was also where the historian Josephus headed the Jewish forces. Later, Josephus'army was confronted by that of Vespasian and fled.
- After the fall of the fortress of Jatapata, Josephus gave himself up, and the Roman forces swept the country. On August 29, AD 70, Jerusalem fell; the Temple was burned, and the Jewish state collapsed. The fortress of Masada was eventually conquered by the Roman general Flavius Sliva.
