  • The Battle of Trenton was a battle that was started on 26 December, 1776 and it ended on January 3, 1777. It started when George Washington and his army crossed the Deleware river. there was about 3900 soldiers in total 2400 for America and 1500 for the British. But one long week later America won the Battle of Trenton. With a total of 910 estamated deaths 905 of them were from the British and only 5 from America.

  • The Battle of Saratoga occurred in September and October, 1777, during the second year of the American Revolution. It included two crutial battles, they were fought 18 days apart. After a failed Canadian invasion. It lasted about a month, it started on September 19, 1777 and ended on October 17, 1777.there was 1465 estamatied deaths 1135 were from British and then 330 of them were from America.

And most of the soldiers didn't have shoes so they had to go the whole war without shoes on. The army only had necessities such as food and clothes.These were some of the key people of the winter at valley forge Anthony Wayne, George Washington, Baron Von Steuben, Marquis de Lafayette, WilliamHowe, Henry Knox, Nathanael Greene, and Martha Washington. There were in total about 12,000 soldiers and 400 women and children. In total there was between 1,800 to 2,500 deaths in total.
