- Bethany is walking to the park on her own. Her mother tells her to stay safe. Bethany just skips off, proud to be walking withoutbeing accompanied by an adult.
- Bethany decides to take a secret shortcut. She comes across a groupof kids who are much older and intimidating than her. Theyare not too happy that she is disturbing their hideout...
- Bethany discovers that she is in an abandoned street. She is alone,with only the company of one strange man, who smells of smoke. He asks her if she wouldlike him to drop her back home. Bethany is becoming rather desperate,so she agrees and tells him the directions.
- Bethany finds herself in an old, run down cottage. She starts panickingand asks Where are we? This is not my home. The man shrugsand replies: I know! This is my home and you will stay here for some time, and with that, he walks out of the house and locks her in the onlyroom, leaving her feeling desperate and afraid. The man has also taken Bethany's phone.
- Bethany's mother is getting concerned. It is way past Bethany's curfew and she won't respond to any of her mother's emergency phone calls.When Bethany's mother gets hold of a friend Bethany is supposed to meet up with, apparently Bethany has not reached the park safely. She decides to phone the police...
- Eventually, Bethany's location is tracked. Some police officers arrive at the man's house and take her home with her mother. The man is arrested. This is why you should NEVER let anyone outside of yourfamily circle take care of you without your adult's permission. STAY SAFE KIDS!
