- Hi, I'm John Dalton and I was born in a poor weaver’s family in 1766 in England. I began my career as a teacher at the age of twelve. Seven years later I became a school principal. In 1793, I left for Manchester to teach mathematics, physics and chemistry in a college. I even spent most of my life there teaching and researching. In 1808, I also presented my atomic theory which was a turning point in the study of matter!
-  I am the first person to  observe atoms  in the history. In my times, atoms were meant to be the smallest substance, but after more researches by scientists, it was proved that there are many substances that are smaller than atoms.
- This  is how an atom looks like. The ball like shape in the middle is know as the Nucleus which contains Neutrons and Protons. The small ball like shape structures surrounding the Nucleus are known as  Atom Particles or Electrons. The string like structures are known as electron shells or Electron orbits.
