Okay, students, before we start our lesson, I will present something, and I would like to hear your answers or opinions.
ARE HUMAN FLOURISHING AND HAPPINESS RELATED?
We can see on the left side that he is rich and can buy everything he/she wants, but he/she is not happy with the state of his life. He doesn't have any friends, and he can’t with talk with his parents about her/his problems.
While on the right side, we can see that she is living an impoverished life and he/she needs to work to get the things she wants, but she is happy in her life because she has friends and family that encourage, motivate, supports and her in everything.
Who wants to answer the questiong on the board?

Sometimes it is not the material things that give us a positive life to be happy. we just need people around us to support us in everything.
For me, yes. Because when a person develops positive feelings and he/she's living well despite the state of their life, it still leads a person to happiness.
Correct. A flourishing life is a happy life. It is one in which various criteria have been met to some extent. It is the ultimate purpose of one's life and should guide one's life.
