"Hi Josef, my name is Isabel. I'm from Cuba and had to leave because Fidel was taking charge and not letting us go. Then he said we could leave, and my family and I left in a horrible made boat. I had a lot of challenges like having to see my best friend die and almost seeing my best friend's dad die from going overboard. My mother gave birth on board right when we got to Florida, and Lito sacrificed himself to help us get to Florida.
"My names Josef.Im Germany.Where are you from?"

"I'm so sorry to hear that"
"It's ok.I'm good now.What about you?Why did you leave Germany?"

"I left Germany because I'm Jewish and people in Germany did not like anyone who wasn't their version of a German. My dad was sent to a concentration camp, and he was only let go if we left and never returned. We went on the ship MS Saint Louis and had fun until we got rejected from Cuba. My dad tried to jump off the board and was forced to stay in Cuba. We wanted to go to the U.S.A., but they rejected us, so the ship was split into groups and sent to different countries. I was sent to Paris and after a while another war broke out and I sacrificed myself for my little sister and was sent to a concentration camp just like my dad was."
