- I have an abundance of slaves and need to sell some. These ones are good workers.
- Economy
- The slaves were sold in Alexandria Virginia because slave owners growing corn were finding out they had to many slaves. They thought they could sell slaves for money to continue to produce corn and sell the slaves to slave owners who produced cash crops such as tobacco, sugar,, and cotton.
- They look healthy. I will take them.
- Geographic
- Fertile soil makes growing the crop of cotton so much easier. Plus with the help of you people I am making a lot more money then I could have hoped.
- Even though us slaves pick the cotton and do all other work around here we still get payed nothing for working on this farm helping plaint these cash crops.
- The slave master and the slave are having a conversation about the cash crops they grow and produce.

- A slave master and a non believer in slavery are arguing over slaver existence and then Clay Callahan makes a compromise
- I a slave owner need slaves to better my crops and keep a good system going on may farm so I can make money and continue to sell.
- I a non beliver in slavery and I think that slavery should be abolished in all states for the better of people

- I am a planter I own many slaves. I am very wealth from my plantations crops. I am the highest social class.

- The social status in the south goes from lowest to highest rank from slaves, to poor farmers, to small farmers, to planters. Their jobs are different and so is the amount of wealth they have.
- I am a small farmer I own some slaves but a small amount I am not too wealthy but I am the 2nd seat in the social class.

- Most of us slaves are Christians so we are all glad to be able to practice our religion freely.

- The two men are talking about how shipping goods down the river was an easier way to transport their cash crops rather then ridding in a horse and driving them their.
- The river is a cheaper way to ship my cash crops like cotton down the river to the place that needs it.
- Yes. Much cheaper and more efficient then ridding on wagons on the road to transport them cash crops.
