Townshend act
In 1754 and Benjamin Franklin thought the colonies would be stronger together the colonists didn't approve, so Benjamin Franklin made a cartoon to convince the colonists to join together.
Boston Massacre
In 1754 Britain and France fought over control of eastern North America and the ohio river valley. Britain won, but they lost lots of money from the war and they needed to get their money back.
Boston Tea Party
In 1763 red coats stayed in the colonists homes, ate their food and didn't have to pay anything the colonists were vary mad.
Lexington and Concord
It's 1770 and the colonists threw snow and yelled insults at the red coats. The red coats didn't hear the captain say "don't fire" and when it was over 5 colonists were killed.

In 1773 a group of mad colonists dressed as Indians and boarded 3 British ships. They dumped 342 crates of tea in the Boston harbor. They swept the deck and they agreed to leave the ship clean and only destroy the tea.
Remember we are only after the tea
It's 1775 when Britain found out the colonists had gun powder and weapons he sent the red cotes to steel it. Even now no one knows who fired the first shot, it heard around the wold and it marked the beginning of the revolutionary war.
