- Hi, my name's Ethan I am the tall kid standing in the middle of the paint. It was our championship game and we were going up against the number one seed. It was the 2nd quarter and we were already down by 20. My friend got his ankles broken, and the morale of the team was breaking too.
- You boys need to get your stuff together. What was that out there. Do you want to win the championship or not. Hustle!
- Yes Coach

- I got dunked on and I became furious. Our defense was falling apart on every possession they had. They were too fast and no one could keep up.
- You boys go head on out to the bench.Ethan you stay back.
- The other team was hitting all of their shots, and we didn't know how to stop this. Before I knew it, it was halftime, the score was 20-53 and the buzzer had sounded. I was teeming with anger and had the urge to already give up.
- Ok Coach i'll try.
- You have to stop getting mad at yourself. If you really want to win this you have to lead the team. You need to pick up their morale and just tell them to feed you down low unless they have an open shot, that's how'll we'll make this comeback.
- We trotted into the locker room and, Coach was mad as expected. We knew we could do better. Heck we made it to the championship.
- I didn't know what was about to happen then. I thought he was going to sit me on the bench the rest of the game because of bad performance.
- The talk with coach really got me happy and ready to play. I was ready to go out there, lift my teammates up, and do my hardest to bring home the win.
