- The video we watched in class about how animals are treated for food. It made me feel so sad.
- It made me think, but I still really like meat. I can’t imagine not eating bacon!

- Wait a second. No more burgers? No more chicken nuggets? That’s a lot to give up
- I wanna be a vegetarian! I don’t want to hurt animals anymore, I want to help them!

- That’s a wonderful choice, Lila! But you need to stay strong
- That’s cool, Lila, but what about me? I love meat.

- Well, I tried a veggie sandwich. It wasn’t bad. But I still prefer my regular sandwiches !
- So I started eating more vegetables. They taste really good! Plus, I feel strong and healthy.

- Wow! That’s a lot of water. But I still don’t want to give up my meat.
- Did you know that it takes 1,800 gallons of water to make just 1 pound of beef

- I’m not sure I want to stop eating meat, but maybe I’ll try eating less.
