- In this situation Salva was very terrified. I know this because during this situation when Salva heard the gun fire his first resort was for him to run into the bush. This proves that he is scared because during this time he was just 11 and didn't know where to go without his family, all he was worried about was for him to get of the situation.
- In this situation Salva was very upset. This is because Nuer men shot his uncle and took his tribes clothes after. This would make him upset because Uncle was the only person who was nice to him, and would share food with Salva, but now that Uncle is gone he will have no one near him that is nice to him, and also no one who knows him!
- In this situation Salva left it very grateful. This was because while being forced into the river a man pulled him under the water to save him from being shot. He was grateful of this because if he was shot he would have died, so if it wasn't for this man, Salva would have died.
