After sometime Ged graduates and decides to study dragons at low torning and is given an Otak by his friend Vetch but needs to save his friends son who’s dying but he can because of the shadow.
Ged escapes from the evil stone and goes back to Ogion who helps him regain his strength.

Ged goes dragon hunting and kills a lot of them but instead of killing the biggest one he figures out its true name.
Ged goes hunting for the shadow and eventually does find it but its tricks break Ged’s boat
Ged goes hunting for a solution that will destroy the shadow and finds out about a sword but instead he meets an evil stone which then has his Otak dead. With his anger he battles for his fallen fellow.
Ged then challenges Jasper that he can summon the dead but in that process he brings the shadow but is saved by the headmaster
Ged Vetch meetup and travel on their boat hunting for the shadow until they come across it.
Ged finds his shadow and both say their true names and Ged absorbs his shadow

After the incident with the shadow Ged is sent to Roke to learn at a school of magery but the waters are getting rough but with Ged’s help they make it.
