- Soon after we heard that the only son of squire Gordan had passed away I have been brought again by Farmer Grey to meet a new man in the search for a new master. The squire examined me by softly opening my mouth, patting my legs and strocking my head. I could tell that he wasn't trying to frighten me. This horse is exactly what i'm looking for. exclaimed the squire.
- It all started with a bridle which looked similar to a halter except the bit. A piece of metal attatched to the metal straps, without knowing I became startled as Farmer Grey hanged it against me. Just like any horse I tried to spit it out but he convinced me not to do so with some grain and encouraging words.
- Everday my master would train me walking down the usual path until i was introduced to this new enviroment, it was beautiful, there were cows, goats and sheeps and plenty of delicious grass to eat so iI didn't mind though I really did miss my team.
- Farmer Grey's worker called Dick came to our field often, Hey! I wanna see you run! he scampered, throwing a stiff rock towards one of the colt's chest. It got me thinking why Farmer Grey would want to hire someone like this. Humans can be hard to understand.
- The colt was caught by suprise that he hoped around twisting and turning in all directions. Since then he has been coming daily throwing sticks or rocks at us.
- Until one day...our master caught Dick off-gaurd and announced that he was fired immediately realising that this has been going on for a while. For a vast momment we felt relieved and restored.
