- Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.
- Why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?
- The couple did not understand what Jesus had said to them...
- After what happened, they all went back to Nazareth and Jesus became obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
- Our story was taken from the Book of Luke, Chapter 2, verses 41-52, in which the Fifth Joyful Mystery "The Finding at the Temple" happened. In the story, we can see Mary concerned for Jesus because he was lost and Joseph helping her find Jesus, even when they went to Jerusalem again, Joseph didn't leave all the trouble to Mary, as for the Child Jesus, he didn't follow them home but when the found him in the temple, he obediently followed them home. This story aims to inspire other Christian Families on how to speak with one another and how to treat each other. For the parents out there, be a team and support each other like Mary and Joseph!
