During the silk road trade, there was an increasing demand and desire for luxurious goods due to more wealth. This wealth was obtained through the silk roads. What caused this increased trade was the political stability of the economies. Since peace proceeds prosperity, the states were secure to further expand their territories and trade without any harm.

His first stop was a caravanserai in Samarkand. It was a huge inn in which he rested and drank tea and chatted with the other merchants. The other merchants were talking about Buddhism, how saddles were very helpful to them, and caravans.
The growth of exchange along the trade routes resulted in commercial innovations which supported flow of commerce, caravanserai and caravans that promoted security, and cultural exchange and diffusion.
I should get one of those saddles. That would increase the amount of goods I can bring and make my trade more efficient. Also, the caravans would ensure our safety.
