Eckels and the rest of the crew get into the time machine and travel back sixty Million, two thousandand fifty-five years ago. Travis reminds the hunter Stay on the path. Don't go off it...for any reason.

Eckels and so amazed and frightened by the T-Rex that he is unable to shoot it. Lesperance tells Eckels to hide in the time machine, but Eckels goes the wrong way and steps off the path.
