- Hi Sir. We came here to see how you work throughout the day. I want my brother to know how much hard work you do and about farming. Would you mind telling us?
- Oh Sure dear. In fact I am glad that some people like you actually care to spread awareness and teach youngsters

- Oh! Interesting. What does market gardening and horticulture mean?
- So the land we are standing is were we do agriculture. There are different types of farming but I am doing commercial farming means for the purpose of selling in markets. In commercial farming I am doing market gardening and horticulture.
- Tina decides to take her brother, Tom to a farm to show him the hardships of being a farmer and to gain knowledge about agriculture.

- Oh ok.
- Well, Market gardening and horticulture is a type of agriculture that includes cultivation of vegetables, fruits and flowers solely for the urban markets
- Tina and Tom go to thr farm and introduce themselves to the farmer. The farmer in return is very happy to teach them what he does.

- This is the warehouse were we store the products yielded from the field

- Irrigation is often used and soil fertility is maintained by the application of fertilizers. A lot of manual about is required and the yields are generally high. Market gardening is also called truck farming as fresh vegetables are transported to the markets by trucks.
