- WOW YOU KNOW FRENCH? SO COOL!!
- On the first day of seventh grade, Victor welcomes Michael to school. Victor suddenly notices Michael scowl, and Michael claims that it attracts women. They chatted about their summers and how Victor wanted Teresa to be his girlfriend this year as soon as they greeted one another. Victor wished he had taken a course with her at least once.
- Falling Action
- Of course I can!
- Victor grew more and more impatient for his French class as the day carried on. Teresa would be in his French class, he was aware of it. Victor said some words that made no sense when the teacher asked if anyone knew French in order to impress Teresa during French class.
- Resolution
- Now I need to learn French
- Victor wished to leave as soon as possible near the end of the French class since he knew Teresa would no longer be interested in him. However, Teresa appeared out of nowhere and approached Victor, telling him how impressed she was with what she had heard. While Mr. Bueller was standing next to them and overheard their chat, he remained silent. He didn't say anything as he recalled his undergraduate days, when he had tried to impress a lady by posing as rich person.

- When Victor was taking Teresa to her classroom, Teresa requested if he could help her with her French homework. Teresa thought Victor actually knew French, and Victor was really impressed by this.
- Can you help me study French stometime?
- Victor hurried to the library to check out some French books after biology. He would go to any lengths to get Teresa to be his girlfriend, despite the fact that he was aware of the necessity to improve his French. Victor knew this was going to be his year.
