Petruchio and Katherine arrive at his house, being newly weds.
Men around the township come and try to woo one of the two daughters of a wealthy man, But the wealthy man won't let the men marry the more sought out daughter until someone marries his other, more repulsive daughter.
Petruchio arrives in town and plans to marry Katherine because she is wealthy and he has his plans to help him change her from nasty and evil a good-willed and obedient housewife.
Petruchio brings home Katherine and his servants bring him and her food but Petruchio complains that the food isn't good enough
