- People of the Amazon region can increase their living standards while still protecting the beautiful rainforest by using blow driers, eating less meat, and planting trees.
- Using blow driers Using blow driers is important because it is saving the rainforest. Using blow driers is important because it is saving the rainforest.Instead of cutting down trees to supply for paper towels we can blow dry our hands and still dry are hands fine. The video “Fueling the fire”and Percentage of Forested Land show some ways on how to save the rainforest!
- I don't want to do that for the rainforest!
- Eating less meat is important because it reduces your “carbon footprint” on the environment. This will not make your life that hard all we have to do is just start eating a little less meat. Not only is it better for the rainforest, but it is also good for your health! The article “Interactions among Amazon land use, forests, & climate," showed me some ways to protect the rainforest.
- Save the rainforest!!
- Planting more trees is extremely important because we have to keep the rainforest! By planting more trees we are helping not only preserve the rainforest but we are growing more trees that provide oxygen for us! If each person just contributed to planting one tree then that would really help keep our rainforest! All we have to do is pick up a shovel!The Fueling Fire video and the video segment on Eco Tourism.
- People will argue that they need to eat tons of meat, use paper towels, and that they don’t have time to plant trees. But it doesn’t take that much time or work! If each person contributes to helping we can keep our rainforest! Also for all the things that the rainforest does for us like provide oxygen and provides air condition for our planet it deserves to be saved!
- My argument is more convincing because it shows evidence for how important the rainforest is and ways how we can save the rainforest! I also have a stronger point because saving the rainforest that saves our lives is way more important that eating tons of meat and wanting to use paper towels! So get out there and plant some trees and save your environment!
