Density is a physical property that measures how much mass is packed into a given volume. It is calculated by dividing an object's mass by its volume. The formula for density is: Density = Mass/Volume. Objects with higher density have more mass in the same amount of space compared to objects with lower density. When density increases, objects may sink, while lower density objects tend to float. Changes in temperature or pressure can also affect an object's density.Now thats an easy explanasion lets show you an example.

When you drop a rock from a building, gravity pulls it downward, causing it to accelerate. The rock's density, which is a measure of its mass per volume, affects how it behaves during the fall. Since the rock has a higher density than air, it doesn’t float and falls to the ground. As it falls, the force of gravity increases its speed, but air resistance gradually slows it down. The rock will continue to fall until it reaches the ground, where it stops due to the impact.
