- I always saw people with a story and a flag. A different language or cultural wear. I had English as a first language, born in America, baggy clothes and the American flag.

- I would always ask my mom for cultural hairstyles especially ones with beads.
- Can I have this hairstyle? It has beads, its so cute.

- I go to a PWI where the students ethnicities are not like mine. Even some who are in higher social class.
- I hate this school. Im going to get you sued.
- But where do I fit in?
- Being African American with Native American and African roots, I researched so much all of the information came alive!
- I learned my grandma and dad has indigenous lineage so I have a Native American dream catcher in my room!
- I still wear African clothing and headwear to connect back but I am more knowledgeable of my role in America. I am a middle class citizen, with African Ancestory. I never understood it until now.
