- The quartering Act required that American's payed for troops in the colonies, sometimes even payed for their housing. The quartering act lead to the revolution because of how many were in the presence in the city, which lead to very violent incidents. This included the British, citiznes of New York, and son's of liberty
- Intolerable Act 1774
- The townshend act is the act that the British passed that taxed goods imported to the American colonies. The townshend act lead to the revolution because of the redcoats, they became a angry mob and killed colonist which also lead to the Boston Massacre.
- Salutary Neglect 1775
- The tea act was the act of the Parliment of Great Britain, the act was to reduce the amount of tea held by the finacially unstable and troubled British to help the struggling company survive. The tea act contributed to the revolution because they punished Boston for dumpin tea into the harbor.

- Intolerable Act were a series of laws passed by the British Parliment to punish the Massachusetts Bay for the Boston Tea Party. This lead to the revolution because of the outrage it caused.
- Salutary Neglect of 1775 was a policy of the British Crown to avoid strict enforcement on parliamentary laws, it allowed economies to grow substancially. This lead to the revolution because as this was going on colonist began to feel as if they could rule themselves which was very chaotic.
- The Common Sense Act was a act made to change the mindset of people who wanted to have peace with the British Government, but Thomas Paine wanted those people to fight for their independence. This lead to accelerating the revolution.
