The Stamp Act was a tax act that would help pay for British Troops in the colonies during the 7 year War. This tax would be placed on printed materials like documents, playing cards, and newsletters. This tax was represented by a stamp placed on these printed items.
Tea Act May 10, 1773
The Quatering Act required colonists to open their home to British soliders. They were forced to provide many needs like food, drinks, fuel, and transportation. Colonists were greatly upsetted by this as it costed them and didn't get them any freedom from the soliders.

An series of acts that placed duties or taxes on many types of goods that were imported to the American colonies like tea, lead, paint, and paper. This was done to raise revenue for the British Empire, but upsetted the colonists as they were against any new taxes. They saw this as an abuse of power. Parliament sent troops to enforce the laws which built tension between the colonies and Britain.

The Tea Act was passed to encourage colonists to buy tea from the East India Company. They did this because the East India Company played a role in Britain's economy. They lowered the amount of taxes on the companie's tea and increasing it on other sources of imported tea which would cost colonists more to buy and made the company's tea more appealing. The colonists reacted negatively to this which resulted in them boarding the company's ship dressed as native Americans and would dump all of the tea into the ocean. This was known as the Boston Tea Party
