The Magna Carta was drawn up by English nobles and church leaders t limit the king's power in 1215 they forced King John to agree to ths act. The Magna Carta stated the king must follow the law and could not rule as he wished to.
English Bill of Rights 1689
The enlightenment was a period of intellectual, philosophical, cultural, and social movement that spreads through England, France, Germany, and other parts of Europe.
Sugar Act 1764
The Navigation Acts declared that only english ships would be allowed to bring goods into England, and the Noth American colonies could only export England's goods.

The Stamp Act was an act which imposed a direct tax on British colonies in America and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper produced in London, carrying an empossed revenue stamp.
